As of 08/26/2025, the Khan family’s application for asylum—on behalf of Azam, Bibi Jana, Muska, Jahanzib, Afsana, Rahan, and Adnan—remains under review. All required documentation has been submitted, and Azam has completed his interviews with the relevant immigration authorities. The family continues to reside in New Haven while awaiting the decision.
HaRRP is closely monitoring the status of the application and will provide further updates as new developments occur.
