This summer, fifty-five Vacation Bible School participants made six warm blankets as a mission project. After inserting a red felt heart in between the layers of the blanket, the children tied the ends and said a prayer over each blanket, praying that whomever used this blanket would feel the love and comforting hand of God.
This week those blankets were delivered to the Middlesex Oncology Infusion Center in Middletown, Connecticut. As patients receive their chemotherapy treatments, these blankets will keep them warm and hopefully provide comfort.
