On January 1, 2023 the two Congregational churches in the towns of Haddam and Higganum merged to form the United Congregational Church of Haddam and Higganum(UCCHH).
Our members will continue to utilize both the Haddam and Higganum church buildings and facilities, altering Sunday service locations on a monthly basis. UCCHH will continue to host many of the events for which the separate congregations were known for – Bread for Heat Ministry, the Annual Ron Booth Golf Outing, the Yuletide Quilt Show, and the Holiday Cookie Walk, to name a few.
The Haddam Area Refugee Resettlement Project (HaRRP) will continue to be spearheaded by UCCHH.
We are stronger together and under the leadership of Rev. Hilary McLellan, our members look forward to future growth and service to our community and the wider world.
