Thank you for your contributions to the school supply ministry!
As many of you know, the FCCH Christian Service Committee and the HCC Outreach Committee collected school supplies for both Church World Service and Haddam- Killingworth Youth and Family Services during the month of July and August.
Because of your generosity, we were able to collect enough supplies to fill thirty-five school bags for Church World Service and a basket full of supplies for HKYFS.
A big thank you goes out to the members and friends who sewed all the cloth bags for the supplies. Two young ladies who were learning to sew made several bags with the assistance from an aunt and a grandmother. What a good project for kids!
The bags will be dedicated on Sunday, August 25, 2019, during the morning service at FCCH
