The Junior Youth Group went on a shopping trip this past Sunday to Stop & Shop to pick up over $100 in groceries for a local family in need.
Each year, the church donates all the fixings for fourteen Thanksgiving dinners for families in our community. Distributed by Haddam Health, the dinners include stuffing, veggies, rolls, cranberry sauce, gravy, and an or pumpkin pie.
This year, one of the families will also receive the $100 in extra groceries picked out by our youth group.
Thank you to the congregation who helped support the youth group’s trip by donating during the church service on November 13th.
