The 9 th Annual Yuletide Quilt Show & Holiday Bazaar held on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9th, was a big success. The 150 pieces of quilted art work displayed in the sanctuary was spectacular. All the bright colors beautifully displayed in the plain white traditional congregational sanctuary were a feast for your eyes.
This was the first time the Quilt Show ran for two days. We had more Christmas offerings this year – more vendors, raffle baskets, Christmas gifts, and Christmas gifts. Also new this year was a Silent Auction and a Chili Cook-off on Sunday. The result was a doubling of our profits!
Thank you extended to everyone who displayed a quilt, who helped with setting up and taking down the event, who made soup, bread and pies, who donated to the raffle baskets, and who helped with advertising, promoting and planning the event. A big thanks to our six Chili Cook-off chefs!
