The FCCH Quilt Show Committee would like to thank all our wonderful exhibitors, volunteers, and vendors for making this one of our best shows yet!
We had over 140 quilted items on display in the sanctuary! It was quite a sight! Congratulations to Stewart Gillmor on winning the “Visitors’ Favorite” Award with his Vintage Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt.
We raffled off two beautiful quilts and an afghan this year. Congratulations to Mark Soneson, the winner of our first prize, a lovely Christmas quilt made by Dena Liedke.
New this year (and very popular!) was our themed-raffle baskets. Thank you to the members of the First Congregational Church of Haddam and Higganum Congregational Church for donating all those wonderful items!
With the profits from this show, FCCH is able to provide assistance to people in need both locally and around the world. All the proceeds go directly to support the following: Haddam Fuel Bank, St. Vincent DePaul Missions, Harvest Home East Haddam, Simply Smiles, and Church World Service.
